Back in the days, women were more conservative and men did probably all the chasing; but gone are those days. Things are different these days and it has become normal for women to chase men even when it’s obvious that he doesn’t want to be chased.
Men reason differently from women; when you chase a man, you boost his ego and the resulting effects might never be favourable. There are better ways to go after a man you admire than doing all the chasing. The truth is, if he cares about you and notices a slight interest from you, he would probably do all or most of the chasing; but the following would most likely occur when you do all the chasing:
1. HE MIGHT WANT YOU FOR ONLY PUNANI
This is a huge probability when you chase after a man who doesn’t really want to be chased. He doesn’t have affection for you, neither does he love you; so he would most likely eat your punani till he gets tired. This is a highly possible factor you should consider when you chase a man who wouldn’t be chased.
2. YOU OFFER YOUR HEART TO SOMEONE WHO ISN’T DESERVING OF IT
Your heart, your love, your affection and attention should be given to someone who truly deserves it. Giving your heart to someone less deserving of it is like digging a grave for your own self. Who does that?
3. IT MIGHT NEVER LAST
When you do all the chasing and probably get the so-called man of your dreams, the relationship might only be short-lived. The fact that you caught him doesn’t mean it would last; more often than not, such relationships never last.
4. IT WOULD BE ONE-SIDED
There is every possibility that the relationship would be one-sided. When the lady does all the chasing to get the man, there is every tendency that the same would occur in the course of the relationship. The weight of the relationship would be on her as the man entered the relationship without really desiring it.
5. IT TELLS YOU THAT HE ISN’T THAT SPECIAL
A great man wouldn’t take a lady for granted; if he’s interested in her he would signify by showing his interest in her and by making her feel special, and if he isn’t interested, he would also let her know. A good man wouldn’t want to use a lady for selfish reasons. So, this says much about the kind of guy you are actually chasing.
6. YOU MIGHT LOSE YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS
Having a crush on someone who doesn’t really feel same about you can push you to do things you wouldn’t ordinarily do in a bid to get him. This could make you lose your sense of value and self-esteem.
7. IT’S EXHAUSTING
Chasing after a man who wouldn’t rather be chased could actually be exhausting. This would lead you to spending your time, energy, resources and emotions on someone who wouldn’t reciprocate — and it’s highly exhausting.
8. YOU BECOME UNNECESSARILY SAD
You could also become unnecessarily sad when you are faced in this situation. You know you want to feel loved and desired, (everybody does) and when this doesn’t happen, you would most likely sulk and feel sad. Why on earth would you put yourself in a situation where you would be sad for no particular reason?
So ladies, it’s in your best interest not to chase a man, especially when he even doesn’t want to be chased. There are countless reasons why such a situation wouldn’t favour you.
